1. The $5 entry fee must be paid before chili contest or chili will not be entered into the contest for judging. All entry fees must be paid before the contest. No additional entries will be accepted after judging begins. No refunds will be given for entry fees.
2. Contestant must name chili.
3. Contestant must display a card that contains the name of the chili, the chili burn rating, and the type of meat used in the chili.
4. All varieties of chili are acceptable. Very spicy chilies will not be eligible for entry into the competition.
5. A contestant may provide more than one type of chili. If contestant wishes to have additional chilies entered into the competition an additional $5 fee must be paid per entry.
6. Contestants are responsible for supplying all of their own cooking utensils, etc. Contestants are also responsible for clean up of their station after the competition.
7. Contestant must prepare approximately one gallon of chili.
8. Prize for contest winner will be the total of all entry fees collected. There will be no prize for second and third place.
9. Chili judging will begin at 11:45 a.m.
